Lessons that 6 of my Scouts have learnt on their 1st leaderless camp:
 They live like pigs!
If you use up 7/8 pints of milk in the 1st 1hr 30mins, you have none left for the rest of the weekend
If you have a tomato sauce fight, there's none left for bacon or sausage cobs.
If you have a washing up liquid fight, there's none left to wash up with.
If you don't wash up, you have no items to cook or eat with.
if you waste matches, you can't light the gas meaning you can't cook.
You can't buy replacement matches until you're 18yrs old!
They all have an odd fascination with burning things (inc cereal!)
If the lads can't keep noise and/or farting to a minimum at night, the girls will kick you out into another tent!
There are no leaders about to bail you out!
They have all had a fantastic time despite the weather and I am so proud of all of them for coping, reacting and most of all, being great mates and showing why Scouting is so valuable in Young People's lives!
